Bird Series

While drinking coffee this morning, I looked out into the backyard and noticed my cat stalking a bird. It was a robin, a signal Spring is near. I made sure the robin was safe from being "kitty breakfast"and went to my studio. "Inspired", I pulled out "Stokes Field Guide to Birds" for reference and ended up with these two little paintings.
